"It's Friday!"

Everyone in office is saying that first thing in the morning~ Yup! TGIF once again =)

Mood is improving, although work is getting more boring. Updating files that havent been touched since ages ago... even before i was born! It's like really pointless cos no one looks at these files anyway. But they're arelly lacking of work for us to do, and we still have another 4 weeks here. Oh well... sure beats not having anything to do though.

Last night, as i was lying in bed, a lot of thoughts came into my mind... About my family, friends, relationship and studies... It's just a sudden feeling of realisation that struck me. Im not gonna say wat exactly i thought about, but just that im gonna have to take on a lot more responsibilities. Gambatte! Haha... Things will change for the better.





Nothing seems to go right for me at PA.

Yesterday, i just wanted to print the work that i've completed, but guess wat? As i was connecting my thumbdrive into the company's PC, the com crashed -.-" I didnt even do anything! My thumbdrive was too thick to be connected to the usb port on the front of the cpu, so i connected it to the back ports. The next thing i knew, the monitor went blank! And it couldnt be switched on again. But to my defense, the PC is old~ There's a freaking thick layer of dust on top of ths cpu... Haiz... One of the perm staff even asked how much is my pay, implying that i'll have to pay for wat i spoilt. I know she might have meant it in a joking manner, but i didnt even spoil it. Made me feel damn guilty, everyone just stared at me and gave me the "it's-all-ur-fault" look.

Guess PMS-ing at work is not a good thing, felt bad for everything and i cant really take jokes well. Sian... And wanna guess what happened today? Today only started for 1/2 hr... It's dress down day, so we're allowed to wear jeans, denim mini skirts, fluffy long skirts, etc. The only restriction we were explicitly told is not to wear tops with big words like "I am so sexy". And good news for me, i dun have such tops. I thot to myself this morning, since we can wear short denim skirts, i would naturally think we can also wear 3/4 pants. But no, we're not allowed to... And no one told me. It's not even some obscene looking piece of clothing. The rest of the interns knew tt we are not allowed to wear 3/4s, but not the 2 of us sitting at the other end of the world. Only this morning they told me. Great... Haiz... now i dun dare walk ard the office, hidding behind my desk keeping a low profile. But unfortunately, today is the day i have to walk the most.... Requesting and returning files.

Just lookin forward to the end of the day... TGIF!





I started PA terribly by falling sick on the first day in the office. Vomitted 3 times before my manager got really scared of me. Haha... Felt really bad to trouble all the other interns and some of my colleagues though, thanks for all the concern. Had to take MC the next day and that's only the 2nd day of work! Goodness... But luckily the manager is really understanding.

Turns out that my dad also fell sick that day. It started with my grandma the weekend before, and then the 2 of us. Dunno whether it was something we ate or some terrible virus going ard the hse. Either way im glad we're all well now.

Anyway, the next day i returned to work i had to go out for audit at the client's place. A really far away place but the office was really nice. People are friendly and happy too~ Which is really impt! Haha... Time seems to pass faster there, and there's no need to worry about lack of food or drinks cos there's plenty there! Haha... i must say it's quite a pleasant environment to work in.

Today's my last day there and after work the client brought us out for dinner! No signboard restaurant! Whoah! Eat until so full~ Haha... the client kept asking me to eat... and still cannot finish. Lobster salad, crayfish vermicelli, shark's fin soup, black pepper crab.... and much much more! And all that for 4 people... Now u understand y im so full? Haha... The client kept insisting that we drink beer. I really dislike drinking beer, and wat's worse? It's tiger beer *bleah* No choice though, cannot dun give face... luckily i only got half a mug, which was bad enough. I turned as red as the lobster we ate!

Haha... got home not long ago, really long day le. A few more days and it's the end of week 2! Haha... looking forward to the weekends =)

Yes, today was a day with many interesting happenings... Some good and some bad of course. Went all the way to sch just to take a passport size photo in formal wear. And we din even have to wear the full suit! And my black blazer wasnt allowed! Made me bring all my stuff for nothing -.- But it's ok, i've long gotten over that.

Good thing eileen, shan, sp, hannah and i went klunch after that, otherwise really travel so far for nothing. JE kbox was not bad, service was good and even though we got chased out 3 times at least they nv once showed us black face. Haha... we concluded tt it's cos we were dressed in formal wear and looked rich. Notice the emphasis.

For dinner, went to bedok fengshan to eat bak chor mee with dear! Havent been there for so long! The food tasted good *Yumz* bak chor mee soup, hao jian and chicken wings were so delicious! Maybe i just miss eating there lah. Haha... Halfway though our noodles, this old man walked towards our table with a walking stick. His was staying something which i couldnt understand at first, and i wasnt sure if he was talking to us. It turns out that he's a but crazy and was walking down the whole row of tables telling us something has closed and it's already 25 mins passed a certain time (it was 7.10pm btw)... Of cos he said that in chinese but it really sounded like some strange dilect i nv heard before. Haha..

Anyway we went back to bedok central after dinner cos i was too full for ching teng at another place and also cos there isnt anywhere else to go. Dear went to withdraw money from the atm and met with this uncle. I tell u... I've nv met anyone this unreasonable and disgustingly uneducated. When dear told me something at first, i didnt quite understand... Until then it was almost his turn, the uncle who was standing beside him (he actually came later than us) saw that dear took a step forward hoping to show him that he's next but he cut directly in front in a very firece manner and scolded all sorts of vulgarities. In normal circumstances, i wouldnt have bothered too much about such ppl, but due to the fact that he was in the wrong and even scolded dear, just got me pissed. And im sure dear was too. The uncle even raised his elbow twice as if wanting to hit dear, really unreasonable. i know dear was holding back a lot so as not to create too much trouble for him and me, merely tried to reason with him... But i could've sensed that the uncle would've got beaten up if he had taken it a step further. Feel damn irritated especially when he said things like "im older than u, even my son is older than u"... At that time i could only think "so what?" I said it out while staring at him but i doubt anyone heard it. Anyway if he's trying to say that he deserves more respect then im afraid he's got it wrong. Respect doesnt give u any right to cut queue and act like he's in the right, even to the extent of treatening to hit. Grr... how gracious can our city be with such ppl ard, gets me pissed to think about it.

Alright, anyway i came home and fell aslp for quite long... tired after a long day and lousy slp last night. Gonna slp early tonight. Good night peeps.





Haha~ havent blogged for so long! If not for the rain that delayed my plans, i wun be blogging either =X haha... Anyway, exams are finally over! Can u believe it? End of year 2! But PA is gonna start soon too, so not much time to slack this hols.

This sem's exams passed quite quickly for me, only one week... Usually it is spread out over almost 2 weeks. Of cos im not complaining! Just happy it's over. Let's not talk about results yet.

So much has happened since i last blogged... Dun think i can rmb everything, but i must announce to everyone that i ate at one of the world's top 10 restaurants! WooHoo! Lucky me! Haha... All thanks to dear's sis who invited me to her bday dinner. It's a cool place and nice food and of cos... EXpensive!

I watched spidey3 yesterday! Hmm... it's action-packed with so many villains and one of which became spidey's accomplice! Oops... better not say too much in case u ppl reading havent watched. Damn! electricity trip again! 2nd time since the rain started... Damn annoying.

That reminds me, i came home the other day with the lights all off and my main door and windows were left unlock. Such a creepy feeling. But i knew it's cos electricity trip and my grandma couldnt switch it back on and forgot to lock the door before going to her room. But it just feels creepy lah. Haha... staying in a big hse with only a few ppl can be quite lonely and scary sometimes. Might be moving soon though, the agent is actively trying to find buyers for this hse. Dun exactly wanna move but dun have a choice either. And i can design my new room! At least im looking forward to that. My theme shall be vintage! Wahaha... but i think my budget will just cause me to keep it simple.

Sounds like the rain is getting lighter... And i've typed an entry full of ramdomness! Impressive~ Hah... Ok, shall update another day.

Wah... what a tiring day!

Had 2 project meetings at cityhall today, and just realised how many ppl actually meet there to do projs! All NTU students, esp NBS ppl. Haha... Interesting. Ok, but that's not the point. My first project for the day started late but ended early! Had to wait 2+ hrs before the next one started. So went to see see walk walk... From raffles city to citylink to suntec to marina square. I covered most of cityhall in that period of time! Ended up going back to raffles city 1/2hr before my proj meeting time. And guess what? EVERYONE was late! How great! Yup... By the time everyone arrived it was albout 1hr late... Was really falling aslp by then =X

Haha... We walked from raffles city to macs near raffles hotel. Then from there to coffee bean in the middle of nowhere! All for that power socket we needed for the laptop to work. But at least we managed to get some stuff done. I would be cursing and swearing if we didnt! Spent at about 5 hrs in total~ Excluding all the walking and late coming! Boy am i tired... Came home almost 1030pm for dinner (more like supper)... But the caramel ice blend must have kept me quite full. It's a nice drink ok! Dunno why my grpmate said it's a weird drink to order -.-"

Wat a long day....~

So much for complaining that im tired rite... Should be slping by now mut still so free to update =X Haha... watched 2 episodes of 花样少年少女 that i downloaded. I didnt really follow up with the show at first, but the more i watched the more funny i found it! Their acting damn 夸张! That's y so funny~ Haha... Just their facial expression can make me luff... *imagining Ella's wide-mouth shocked looked* LOL!

Haha... It's been so long! Wonder if anyone still visits my blog. It doesnt matter anyway! Sometimes it just makes u feel better after typing everything out even if no one reads it. Lol

Within the first 2 months of 2007, i've already attended so many birthday celebrations! Such an exciting year! Haha... It's becoming a great excuse for gathering everyone~ heh... Been meeting up with my jc classmates quite a few times, and it's great becos i realised there were so many things i nv knew about them! Gossips gossips and more gossips ar... Happening man my class =X Haha...

Been a rather busy week with cny visitings, dear's bday, alex's bday and a whole lot of preparations! CNY visitings were great... Many many angbaos! Haha... Of cos i had a lot of fun spending time with my crazy cousins. We're slowly getting addicted to insane games! Lol... Then came a lot of preparations for dear's bday. Kinda rush cos of cny... But grateful to have his great friends to help out. Thanks guys! (Though i doubt any of u would actually see it) But i really am thankful and touched that he has a bunch of fabulous buddies. I'll nv forget vday 2004... It was truly memorable with the help of u guys. Anyway, he got almost the same presents as i did! As long as he's happy with them then it's worth it =) But sadly he had to leave for Taiwan the day after his bday... And i missed my make up lesson cos i over slept! Damn... Oh well...

Attended alex's bday celebration at his place that evening. This time a rather unique combination of people turned up! Haha... but it was all good =) Happy bday in advance alex! Next time i meet up with them would probably be at least a month later... But im free this coming week for supper or anything! Jio me out anytime! Haha... Staying at home will only drive me crazy.

Haiz... Im filled with a strange mix of emotions. Must keep myself occupied and not think too much... Will really go crazy
